Thompson & Morgan Tulip Parrot Mixed Bulbs

A stunning mix of flared, exotic-looking blooms. 'Parrot Mix' is full of multi-coloured, fringed and ruffled tulips. Planting en masse will provide a carnival of spring colour in beds, borders and patio pots. Bring the colour indoors as this mix is perfect for cut flower displays. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 20cm (8"). Growing Information Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn. Tulips will grow well in any moist, well drained soil, except for particularly wet soils. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds. When planting tulip bulbs avoid shallow planting as this may reduce the winter cold period that is essential for tulip bulbs to produce flowers in spring. Plant them at a depth of 15cm (6") and at a distance of 13cm (5") apart.
