This hardy bulb, tulip 'blue diamond', stands out with its large, fully double, purple blooms boasting a striking silvery sheen. A show-stopping choice for spring borders, these tulips last longer than many other varieties. They are versatile additions to patio containers, beds, and borders, forming a captivating contrast with paler-coloured companions. Notably, these tulips are not just a garden delight; they make exquisite cut flowers for indoor arrangements. With a height of 45cm and a spread of 15cm, 'blue diamond' tulips offer both visual impact and practicality.
