Supplied as jumbo plug plants, ideal for potting now Growing Information Although perfectly hardy, these alpine plants are best grown on in cool, sheltered conditions until spring to prevent them rotting in cold, wet soils. Plant out in spring, in a sunny or semi shaded position. Alpine plants thrive in fertile, free draining soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted compost and some sharp grit if necessary, to improve soil conditions.
