The trailing varieties are especially suited to raised containers, where the flowers can cascade over the edges for a fuller, more decorative display.

When your plug plants arrive, unpack them carefully and check they are well hydrated. If they feel dry, water lightly before planting.

Fill your hanging basket, pot or window box with good-quality compost, leaving enough space to position the plug plants. Gently remove each plug plant from its tray, taking care not to damage the roots, and plant evenly across the container.

For the best display, space the plants so they have room to grow and trail. Firm the compost gently around each plant, water thoroughly after planting and place the container in a bright, sunny position.

If the weather is still cold or there is a risk of frost, keep young plants protected until conditions improve.

Place your planted basket or container in a sunny spot for the best flowering performance. Water regularly, especially during warm or dry weather, as hanging baskets and patio containers can dry out quickly.

Feed weekly with liquid flower feed once the plants are established to support strong growth and continuous flowering. Remove faded blooms where needed to help encourage fresh flowers and keep the display looking tidy.

Protect young plants from frost and strong winds while they establish. With regular watering and feeding, your summer display should continue flowering from early summer through to the first frosts.

We're confident you'll love your Yimbly purchase, but if you need to return an item you can do so via our UK based Customer Services team within 30 days of purchase.
