The calathea orbifolia originates in the rainforest of south america. This beautiful plant is currently one of the most popular houseplants and is an eye-catcher in any interior! What is most striking about this plant is the beautiful drawing on the leaf. The calathea orbifolia can reach a maximum height of 1 meter and has a strong air-purifying quality. The large leaves of the orbifolia easily turn co2 into fresh oxygen. A specific feature of the calathea varieties is that they close their leaves in the evening. So don't be alarmed if you hear a rustling sound in the evening. The next morning the plant simply shows off its beautiful leaves again.
