The delivery of the greenhouse
"The delivery of the greenhouse was quick which was great which is the only positive thing I can say. We started to assemble the greenhouse but there are no written instructions only diagrams and you get so far into the assembly and then you have to take half of it apart because you find the instructions don't follow on in order and then you have to go back to assemble something else that you'd already done part of beforehand. This happened a few times. The weather didnt help,(although we can't control that)and when it was windy there was no way you could carry on as all the parts are flimsy and the wind would blow them down or the flimsy polycarbonate glass panels out. None of the parts fitted together very well, especially the roof bar through the middle which was in three parts and you have a sag in the middle. The polycarbonate panels were very flimsy and not finished off properly down the sides so it was hard to slide them into place without popping out. The whole assembly took over a month (on and off) and throughout the whole time we had to keep it secure and in place with wooden frames that we made. We ended up getting some extra polycarbonate panels, drilling into the patio slabs to cement in extra ties around the bottom to secure it in place, putting silicone around all the panels once they were in place to hopefully keep it in. The greenhouse is now complete and has been up for just over a week now (roof covered with tarpaulin though) and today its slightly windy and one of the roof panels has blown out!!! So now, we'll have to try and take two out to be able to get the one back in which could hopefully NOT cause further problems (you'd couldn't lean on the roof to slide it in as its not strong enough) We're in Spring going into Summer, God knows how this greenhouse will get through a winter season!!!"
