Marshalls Garden Strawberry 'sweetheart' - Early, Heavy-cropping, Disease-resistant

One of the best strawberries for home growers, 'sweetheart' produces bumper crops of big, sweet, juicy fruits with superb flavour beneath a canopy of dark green leaves. Compact, early main-season plants are ideal for small gardens, containers and raised beds and can be planted more densely than other varieties. Shows excellent disease resistance, with good tolerance to powdery mildew and verticillium wilt. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil; plants reach 20-30 cm and flower in june-july.
