Marshmello is a mid-season, bare-root strawberry from marshalls garden that produces exceptionally sweet, superb-flavoured fruits. Strong, vigorous plants reach 20-30 cm, prefer full sun and well-drained soil, and show good resistance to verticillium wilt and crown rot. Fruits ripen from mid june to mid july, have a short shelf life (so they rarely appear in supermarkets), and are supplied as bare roots with a 1-month guarantee.
