Evergreen climber with glossy foliage and clusters of fragrant white, star-shaped flowers in summer. Ideal for training on a sheltered sunny wall or fence, and also suitable for borders in mild climates. Thrives in well-drained, fertile soil with regular watering from spring to autumn and a spring feed. Hardy in most areas but best kept in a conservatory where winter temperatures fall below -10°c. Prune in spring to remove damaged or crowded stems and to maintain the desired size.
