Compact, deciduous spiraea japonica 'firelight' from marshalls garden, prized for a long season of interest. New red-bronze foliage emerges in spring, turns green in summer and then red in autumn, while clusters of pink flowers appear in may–july and attract pollinators. Reaches about 150 cm in height and performs best in full sun with well-drained soil; hardy and suitable for garden beds, borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. Adds vibrant colour and seasonal contrast to mixed borders and beds.
