Santolina rosmarinifolia 'lemon fizz' grows to about 50 cm tall with a spread of 100 cm, flowering from july to august. Tolerant of sandy, loamy and chalky soils when well drained, it prefers full sun and some shelter from strong winds. Drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, this pollinator-friendly plant makes an attractive groundcover or accent in cottage and mediterranean-style gardens, and is suitable for uk conditions.
