Marshalls garden plum 'lizzie' - a japanese plum producing super-sweet, juicy fruits with striking blood-red flesh. Self-fertile and reliable, the tree bears abundant crops 2–4 years after planting. Covered in frost-resistant white blossom in early spring, it attracts pollinators and suits small or larger gardens. Best in full sun and well-drained soil, plant as a bare-root specimen on st julien a rootstock, expected mature height about 3m (10ft), thin fruits in late spring to encourage larger plums.
