Hardy, evergreen perennial ideal for borders, containers and pollinator gardens. Penstemon 'garnet' grows to about 90 cm (2–3 ft) and blooms from june to october, producing vibrant flowers that attract bees and other pollinators. Drought-tolerant once established and low-maintenance, it prefers full or partial sun and well-drained soil. Excellent as a cut flower—dead-head as needed and avoid over-watering or over-fertilising to keep it healthy.
