Marshalls garden penstemon 'barbatus mix' produces colourful spikes of purple, pink and white summer flowers and returns year after year. This hardy perennial is ideal for sunny beds, borders and containers and is a pollinator favourite. Grows to approximately 60 cm high with a 45 cm spread. Sow indoors on moist seed compost, thinly over the surface, cover lightly and keep at 15-20°c. Keep seedlings in a light position, transplant 5 cm apart into potting compost, harden off for 2-3 weeks and plant out from early summer allowing 45 cm between plants.
