Oca (oxalis tuberosa) yam tubers are a blight-resistant, rare potato alternative from the south american andes. These hardy perennials form small, crunchy underground tubers that taste lemony when raw and nuttier when cooked. They tolerate shallow, poor soils and prefer full sun and well-drained soil, making them ideal for containers or greenhouses. Plant in spring (march–april) and harvest about three weeks after the first frost kills the foliage (late november–december). Pack of 5 tubers.
