Compact, aromatic nepeta 'blue moon' smothered in rich blue flower spikes from june to september. Hardy and drought-tolerant, it attracts bees and butterflies and suits sunny borders, containers and pollinator gardens. Sow indoors: nearly fill a seed tray with moist seed compost, sow seeds thinly, lightly cover and keep at 18-25°c; cover until seedlings emerge. Grow on in light shade, transplant 5 cm apart into potting compost and harden off for 2–3 weeks before planting out after frost risk has passed, spacing plants 30 cm apart. Cut back faded blooms to encourage a second flush. Pack contains 20 seeds.
