Crispa 'moroccan' is a compact, hardy perennial with highly aromatic leaves and a strong mint flavour, ideal for tea, mint sauce, jelly and fresh salads. Produces lilac-coloured, edible flowers that attract pollinators. Grows to about 50 cm (20 inches); cut back after flowering. Prefers partial sun and well-drained soil and is perfect for containers, herb gardens or window boxes. Recommended by the rhs as an excellent nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
