Organic lemon balm (melissa officinalis) seeds - easy-to-grow herb with lemon-scented leaves for fresh use or drying, ideal in salads, stuffings and herbal teas. Produces white flowers in summer that attract bees and other pollinators. Self-seeds readily; cut back after flowering to control spread. Sow indoors on moist seed compost, cover lightly, keep at 20-25°c and moist for up to 3 weeks for germination. Transplant seedlings to 8cm pots, 3–4 per pot, then harden off for 2–3 weeks before planting out with 30cm spacing. Suitable for containers, borders and indoor growing, prefers partial sun and well-drained soil. Pack contains 500 seeds.
