Marshalls garden lavender 'hidcote' is a compact, bushy herb prized for its intensely fragrant deep purple flower spikes and grey-green foliage. Ideal for drying and use in teas, potpourri, infused oils and natural crafts, its strong essential oils retain a long-lasting scent once dried. Highly attractive to bees and other beneficial insects, it supports pollination in herb beds. Thrives in full sun in poor to moderately fertile, well-drained alkaline soil, grows to about 60cm and remains hardy with minimal maintenance, suitable for beds, borders and containers.
