Marshalls garden thornless raspberry 'glen coe' – rare uk purple raspberry with rich, velvety flavour and high yields. A vigorous, clump-forming floricane variety that crops from mid june to the end of august. Spine-free, semi-erect shoots create an easy-to-manage, bushy plant ideal for containers and small gardens. Supplied as a strongly rooted, two-year-old 2l pot plant that will develop into a multi-stemmed clump. Fruits are excellent for eating fresh, desserts, sauces, coulis, jams and preserves, offering natural sweetness and intense colour. Hardy, resistant to verticillium wilt, prefers full sun and well-drained, acidic soil.
