Marshalls garden geranium ‘horizon shadow’ produces clusters of large, colourful flowers that contrast with striking chocolate-brown leaves edged in green, blooming from july to october. Ideal for containers, hanging baskets, window boxes, borders and beds, plants reach about 40 cm and flower all summer in full sun. Sow indoors in moist seed compost at 20–25°c, transplant seedlings into 8 cm pots, grow on at 10–15°c, harden off for 2–3 weeks and plant out after the last frost with 30 cm spacing; feed through the season and remove dead heads for prolonged flowering.
