Autumn planting duo including one hardneck and one softneck variety - 'carcassonne wight' and 'provence wight'. 'carcassonne wight' is a pink-cloved hardneck with strong flavour, fine bouquet and excellent skin cover, cropping earlier than many varieties. 'provence wight' is a vigorous softneck from the drôme region in provence, producing large, sweet white bulbs. Both varieties perform well in uk conditions, yielding a flavoursome harvest from mid-summer onwards, and suit garden beds, raised beds, containers and greenhouses, preferring full sun and well-drained soil, hardy in uk gardens.
