Softneck 'mersley wight' garlic cloves for spring planting. Plant cloves 6in (15cm) apart and 1-2in (2-5cm) deep in well-drained soil in full sun, leave in place over winter, water from april and harvest from july–august. Two bulbs yield around 20 cloves for planting, producing about 20 full bulbs the following summer for large, flavoursome homegrown garlic. Suitable for garden beds, containers and greenhouses, with recyclable packaging.
