Compact, high-yield dwarf french bean (dwarf satelit) producing straight, stringless white-seed pods about 6in (15cm) long. Cold-tolerant and early-cropping with resistance to common mosaic virus and anthracnose, this variety grows to around 18in (45cm) and holds pods clear of the foliage for easy picking. Supplied as 12 garden-ready plugs; plant in full sun in containers or beds with well-drained soil, spacing plants 6in (15cm) apart. Feed with a potash-rich fertiliser when flowering and protect young plants from frost with horticultural fleece for best yields; expect a bowlful to colanderful of beans per plant over the season.
