'mary evelyn' is an eye-catching collarette dahlia with velvety red petals, a crisp white ruff and a bright yellow centre. Flowers open from june to october, giving long-lasting late-summer and early-autumn colour and attracting bees and other pollinators. Plants reach 60-90 cm high with a 30-60 cm spread, making them ideal for borders, containers and patio pots. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil; a tender perennial that also makes an excellent cut flower. Supplied as 1 tuber.
