Malus 'golden hornet' crab apple - a compact deciduous tree smothered in pink-tinged white spring blossoms, prized by pollinators, and heavy with clusters of golden-yellow fruit in autumn that often persist into winter. Grows 4–5 m tall on mm106 rootstock with a broad, spreading crown, ideal as a specimen or for small and cottage gardens, borders, patios and wildlife areas. Delivered bare-root, hardy, prefers full sun and well-drained loamy soil, and makes excellent pollination companion for other apple trees.
