Italian heirloom courgette with attractive green-striped flesh and a sweet, nutty flavour. Cocozelle produces fruits all summer and is best picked young—around 5 cm—for raw use in salads, or left to mature for standard courgette dishes. The edible flowers are excellent stuffed and deep fried. Grows to about 50 cm; annual plant suited to full sun and well-drained soil, ideal for garden beds or containers.
