Marshalls garden clematis 'piilu' is a compact, hardy group 2 climber that produces large, wavy-edged mauve double flowers from late spring with a second flush of single blooms in late summer. Grows to about 180 cm and suits containers, walls or borders in full sun and well-drained soil. Lightly prune in early spring and again in early summer to maintain shape and encourage repeat flowering. Pollinator-friendly and supplied as a 2l plant, perfect for adding long-season colour to patios and fences.
