Vigorous brussels sprout from marshalls garden with rhs award of garden merit, producing small, tight dark-green buttons with rich flavour. Plants grow to about 75cm and stand well through winter, forming closely bunched sprouts for easier harvesting. Prefers full sun and firm, fertile soil—work in plenty of well-rotted manure or compost early to encourage compact heads. Hardy and high-yielding, typically ready to harvest between september and november and a source of vitamin c and folic acid.
