Marshalls Garden Bronze Fennel (foeniculum Vulgare 'purpureum')

Three plants grown in 9cm pots of bronze fennel (foeniculum vulgare 'purpureum') with airy bronze-purple foliage and late-summer heads of tiny yellow flowers. Hardy herbaceous perennial growing to about 180 cm, ideal for sunny, well-drained sites, containers, borders and herb gardens. Attracts pollinators; seeds and foliage are edible—seeds suit baking, salads and tea. Low-maintenance: add humus, water in dry weather, remove flower heads to prevent self-seeding or cut back to 30 cm after flowering.
