Harvest the main head when egg-sized to encourage continuous side-shoot production for up to two months, giving a steady supply of tasty stems. Suited to full sun and well-drained fertile soil, grown in pots, patios, small gardens, vegetable plots or raised beds. For best results use a brassica fertiliser before planting to boost winter root development.
