Marshalls garden 'cylindra' beetroot seeds produce long, red cylindrical roots that are easy to peel and ideal for slicing. This variety delivers attractive colour, smooth texture and a consistently sweet flavour with no internal rings. Versatile in the kitchen — serve hot, cold in salads or fried as crisps — and stores well throughout the season. Sow march to july in full sun and moist, fertile, well-drained soil, ph 6.0–7.5; harvest july to november.
