It produces striking red fruit harvested in mid-october, is self-fertile, frost-resistant and reliably heavy-bearing with excellent keeping quality for winter storage. Supplied as a bare-root tree on m26 semi-dwarf rootstock, it reaches about 2.5-3.5 m at maturity and prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Abundant spring blossom attracts pollinators and supports better yields on nearby trees, making it ideal for straightforward, high-yield home orchards.
