Abutilon megapotamicum 'rhubarb and custard' from marshalls garden displays custard-yellow petals set in rich rhubarb-red calyces, forming elegant lantern-like blooms from june to october. Growing 150–200 cm with maple-shaped foliage, it is one of the hardiest abutilons (to around -5°c). Ideal for containers, patios and sheltered borders in full sun and well-drained, loamy or acidic soils; move under cover in colder areas for winter protection.
