Azaleas are beloved flowering shrubs, celebrated for their vibrant, trumpet-shaped blooms, providing a spectacular spring display, in a wide array of colours. Requiring very little in the way of maintenance, these dense, neat, mound-forming shrubs will provide year-round evergreen structure. Your ‘zingy azalea collection’ comprises; japonica ‘hino-crimson’ agm - many rounded trusses of funnel shaped, brilliant red flowers in april and may, a hardy evergreen to -15°c; ‘orange beauty’ - stunning clusters of fiery orange flowers in april and may, a hardy evergreen to -10°c; and ‘pink cascade’ - flowers in april and may, a hardy evergreen to -10°c. All shrubs have a height and spread of 90cm. Azaleas require an acidic soil to thrive, however ericaceous compost can be added to the planting holes, and an ericaceous mulch or feed can be applied thereafter. Azaleas make an excellent companion for other similarly acid-loving plants such as magnolia, camellia, and erica. Ideal for small spaces such as urban gardens, containers, or mixed borders. Supplied in 8cm pots.
