Flowers emerge against a strong frame of glossy, evergreen foliage in sequence -commencing in october and continuing into february - adding 5 months of generous verdancy and colour. Adaptable enough for a border, a strategic spot in open ground or adding to containers and even vases inside your home. The ‘winter-flowering camelia sasanqua collection’ comprises ‘yuletide’ which blooms from november to february, reaching h: 3m s: 2.5m; ‘chantal’, again with flowers from october to december and h: 2m s: 1m; finally, ‘kanjiro’ with flowers from october to january and h&s: 3m. All prefer to be planted in moist, well-drained soil of any kind except chalk based.
