The perfect way to add a spot of exuberance to your pots, borders and floral bouquets throughout may each year. Tulipa 'pink star' is a new variety selected for its soft hues and ruffled petals which are streaked and striated with apricot and pale green tones. Plant 'en masse' and these beauties will enchant you with their warming hues and generous flowers which have a peony like charm. What's more they have a long-lasting vase life so will look fabulous indoors too, with a sturdy upright stem and a maximum height of 35cm. Tulipa 'pink star' is a double late variety which lends itself to planting with other late tulips for concurrent blooms or can be used in a lasagne planting scheme as the crescendo to a display. Flowers are also attractive to pollinators and other wildlife and beneficially drought tolerant once established. Prefers well-drained soil in full sun and is hardy, bulbous perennial with an easy going habit and a spread of between 10cm.
