Hayloft Salvia X Jamensis 'lemon Light' - 9cm Pot

A real gem, salvia x jamensis 'lemon light' will light up your borders and containers. Almost seeming to glow, the open-mouthed blooms in shades of lemon-yellow, climb flower spikes to wave aloft over green, aromatic foliage from june to november. Alluring, fragrant, evergreen foliage releases a sumptuous sage scent when brushed against. Plant near a path or a seat so you can sit back and watch with pleasure as our pollinating friends visit for a feast from june to november, whilst you enjoy the fresh aroma. The word salvia is derived from the latin 'salvere' meaning 'to save' as it has been used medicinally for centuries. Salvia x jamensis 'lemon light' prefers to be grown in well-drained soil in a sunny spot and will also thrive in partial shade. Growing to a height and spread of around 75cm,'lemon light' is a hardy shrub which does not usually require any winter protection in most of the uk. Supplied in 9cm pots.
