Primula vulgaris ‘rosebud mix’ offers cheerful pots of densely petalled primulas in rich colours. Plant these beauties for colour in containers and borders to lift your garden and your spirits during the colder months. They add timeless interest and look sensational as underplanting with their tight rosebud flowers. One of the first flowers to brighten up the garden in springtime. The leaves will die back over the summer and then, if given the right conditions, will re-emerge during the winter months. Plant ‘en masse’ for blocks of colour or in containers to create a focal point in the garden and remember to deadhead to prolong flowering. All prefer a site with moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade and will grow to a height and spread of 20-25cm. Rosebud primulas are semi-evergreen, fully hardy perennials (h7) with a clump-forming habit. Blooms are produced from december to march each year. Supplied in 9cm pots.
