Hayloft Narcissus Falconet - 30 Bulbs

Brightly coloured and intensely fragranced, narcissus ‘falconet’ is a tazetta variety, which has the added bonus of being multi-headed with a long blooming period over march and april. In clusters of up to 20 perfect flowers, the sunshine yellow petals hold a tiny golden-orange cup on stems of up to 30-40cm. This hardy bulbous perennial has been awarded the rhs award of garden merit for outstanding garden performance. Beautifully fragranced narcissi make wonderful cut flowers lasting up to a week in the vase. Allow cut stems to condition in water overnight if adding to other blooms as their stems leak a sap which can shorten the vase-life of other flowers. Plant your bulbs in autumn, in a sunny spot in any well-drained soil at a depth of 15cm for a glorious display next spring. Especially stunning when planted closely together in a pot, perhaps grouped with more pots of narcissi or tulips of different heights.
