Lonicera periclymenum ‘serotina’ floods the late summer air with its sweet heady fragrance. Vibrant pink-red buds burst open to reveal yellow and ivory scented flowers between july and september. Be sure to plant this vigorous climber where it will be fully enjoyed, against a garden wall, trellis, or over a seating area. grows best in well-drained soil, in light shade facing any aspect. Prune established plants back by one third after flowering and mulch around the base with compost or well-rotted manure.
