From these original specimens developed the ‘grandiflora’ varieties, which are usually known as the ‘old fashioned sweet peas.’ lathyrus odoratus ‘old fashioned mix’ brings more intense, richer colours to your trellis and fencing with a wonderfully strong and heady scent. Lathyrus odoratus ‘old fashioned mix’ prefer well-drained soil which is loam or sand based. Plant in a sunny position and these climbing plants will reach a height of 1.8m with a spread of 50cm. Hardy annuals from which seed can be collected for the following year. Supplied as plug plants.
