Hayloft Hydrangea Paniculata Groundbreaker Greeny - 14cm pots

Hydrangea groundbreaker greeny is part of a trailblazing new series bred to grow twice as wide as tall, and therefore lay claim to being the world’s first groundcover hydrangea. Of the series, greeny offers probably the densest flower coverage, with its pale lime-green, slightly conical blooms almost entirely blanketing the plant from july to november (leaves… what leaves?!). At just 30-40 cm tall and 60-80 cm wide, groundbreaker greeny mixes easily in an herbaceous border, as well as suiting life in a large container. More tolerant of dry, open conditions than most hydrangeas, it is also a good choice for mass landscape planting. Oh, and did we mention the hardiness? Able to stand temperatures down to -30°c, plants in this series are about as tough as it gets. this hydrangea is a sun lover so prefers a sunny spot over shade. Supplied in 14cm pots.
