Hydrangea macrophylla ‘rebellion pistachio love’ produces clusters of flowers that first open bright pistachio green maturing into a beautiful raspberry red with touches of warm orange and wine. Part of the rebellion range of hydrangea that have been bred to have a compact habit and colour changing blooms. Flowering on old and new wood ensuring plenty of flowers each year from june through to october. ‘pistachio love’ is a deciduous, well-branched shrub with a rounded, compact habit. When in full bloom the different stages of flower colours will coexist on the same plant offering an everchanging display throughout summer. The same effect can be achieved indoors as hydrangea stems make excellent cut flowers lasting well in a vase, blooms can also be dried for a long-lasting display. Plants thrive in partial shade in moist but well drained neutral to acidic soil. Bringing an original, sophisticated touch to cool, shadier areas in the garden. Use as a background plant in a border or plant in containers on a sheltered patio. Supplied in 12cm pots.
