Blooms first open in green deepening to deep red with brown highlights. Hydrangea macrophylla ’rebellion choco love’ boast large, generous flower heads from june through to september, flowering on old and new stems ensuring plenty of flowers each year. A variety that has a more compact habit making it ideal for small gardens and container planting. Thriving in partial shade or gentle sun, in rich well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil. Part of the rebellion series known by their ball shaped flowers with evolving colours. Choco love is a deciduous shrub that forms a dense well-structured shape with a rounded, compact habit. Particularly resistant to long winters and hard frosts, an excellent shrub for partially shaded areas. A great cut flower either fresh or dried with only a few stems filling a vase, with all the colours on one plant a really impressive display can be achieved. Supplied in 12cm pots.
