Like an elaborate red flamenco dress, the ruffles of geum chiloense 'mrs bradshaw' will wow and impress! Layers of tomato red petals hold a mass of golden pollinator-attracting yellow stamens, sitting atop stems reaching 60cm tall from june to august. Plant in full sun for the blooms to last longest and deadhead faded flowers regularly for the best display. Fully-hardy geum chiloense 'mrs bradshaw' is happiest in fertile, well-drained soil which remains slightly moist. Allow plenty of space for this geum to settle in as its mounded foliage will reach a spread of 45cm and can be divided every few years to produce more of these fantastic perennial plants. Plant in the middle of the border to add a punchy pop of colour which looks fabulous with green foliage plants such as alchemilla mollis, hosta, or euphorbia, and more jewel-toned flowers. Supplied in 9cm pots.
