Hayloft Geranium 'rozanne' - 9cm Pots.

This gorgeous hardy geranium won the rhs chelsea flower show plant of the centenary in 2013, and it is easy to see why. A low-growing, mound forming geranium which is excellent for use as an attractive groundcover plant. With regular deadheading, the blooms will keep coming for months on end, adding beauty, and attracting pollinators – especially bees. Cut back by two thirds after the first flush in summer to encourage yet more blooms. The flowers are saucer shaped, with deep pink veins which lead to a white eye at the centre. Plant geranium ‘rozanne’ in full sun or partial shade in fertile soil which is moist and well-drained, and these wonderful plants will settle in quickly, forming neat mounds of attractive foliage and flowers, with 30-60cm height and spread. Geranium ‘rozanne’ is ever popular in traditional or cottage planting schemes, but it works equally well in a more contemporary design, perhaps at the edge of a path with taller plants behind such as alliums and grasses.
