Sweet woodruff is particularly renowned for its sweet, hay-like aroma, which intensifies when the leaves are dried. This scent has historically been used in potpourri, sachets, and to flavor certain beverages, particularly in traditional german recipes for may wine. The plant grows low to the ground, often spreading into dense mats, and its ability to naturalize in shady gardens makes it an attractive ground cover. Supplied in 9cm pots
