Hayloft Echinacea Purpurea 'double Decker' - 9cm Pots

A unique variety with an unusual feature that the flowers have a two-tiered effect with deep rose-pink petals on top of and below the central cone. This feature develops with maturity with some single flowers produced in the first couple of years. Blooming from mid to late summer, this beauty is a great addition to any garden. Echinacea make great cut flowers, lasting well in a vase, or dried for an arrangement, in the garden the blooms are loved by pollinators and if left once faded they are visited by birds who feast on the seeds. Echinacea purpurea ‘double decker’ thrives in full sun in well-drained soil, becoming drought tolerant once established, also tolerant of heat and humidity.
