Hayloft Clematis 'guernsey Cream' - 8cm Pots

Clematis ‘guernsey cream’ is a compact climber boasting large, rounded, creamy-white blooms that each have a primrose-yellow bar when first open. Preferring a shadier position this is an ideal climber in dappled shade or to clamber up a tree. Growing to a height of up to 2.5metres this is perfect plant to train up an obelisk or add to a container. Beautiful large blooms make an appearance in may to june with a second flush in late summer to early autumn. Deadheading will prolong the flowering period. Thriving in moist but well drained soil, keep the roots cool and shades using low-growing plants or a layer of pebbles. Prune in early spring, remove dead or weak stems and trim to keep in shape, deadhead throughout the season. Clematis ‘guernsey cream’ is an exceptional variety; its large blooms can reach 12-15cm across creating a dramatic display. Great for brightening up a shadier position.
